The variety belongs to spring soft wheat, has a plant height of about 84 cm and a stiff stem, which provides lodging resistance. It is characterized as early-maturing in terms of ripening.
The plant has high resistance to powdery mildew, good resistance to yellow rust, as well as moderate resistance to brown rust and septoria. The variety is resistant to the orange wheat blossom midge.
The produce is distinguished by a high specific grain weight (80.1–80.6 kg/hl), protein content of about 13.3% and a falling number of 342. The variety was bred by crossing lines KWS 13-21 and Astrid and is intended for the baking industry.
