The KWS Aurum variety is a product of the breeding activities of the company KWS Lochow GmbH. The variety underwent official state testing and was included in German descriptive lists of cereal varieties in the period from 2010 to 2015.
Technical information on yield indicators, grain quality, and the variety's resistance to diseases and lodging is contained in the archived issues of German variety testing bulletins. In the company's current portfolio, the variety is represented to a limited extent or is absent, as it has been replaced by newer generations.
