The variety was obtained by crossing the Cordiale and Dover varieties. The plants have a short stem and are characterized by moderately late maturity.
The variety has good resistance to lodging and leaf septoria. It shows moderate resistance to yellow rust and is moderately susceptible to powdery mildew. The grain is characterized by a high test weight.
