The variety KWS Recoleta was obtained as a result of crossing KWS Recoleta × KWS Kilburn. The plant has a very short height; the white ear has loose density and awned appendages in the upper part.
The variety is intended for spring sowing but shows stable yields with late autumn sowing. The grain is distinguished by high falling number values, good protein content, and high specific weight.
The plant has high resistance to powdery mildew and brown rust. In the UK classification, it belongs to the UKFM Group 2 category, intended for baking use.
