The variety belongs to winter soft wheat. Its origin is linked to the Kronjuwel / Maris Marksman line. Previously, the variety was included in lists recommended for cultivation, however, in modern reference books, it is classified as withdrawn from active commercial circulation.
It was assumed that the variety possessed resistance to eyespot due to the presence of the Rendezvous resistance gene, although this property was not confirmed in all trials. Current data on the morphological traits and current productivity of the variety are unavailable.
