The variety was obtained by pedigree crossing of the Torysa and Barbara varieties. The plant is of medium height, about 0.99 m, and carries the Rht 8 dwarfing gene. The spike is white, parallel in shape, dense, of medium length, with short awns at the apex. Lodging resistance is estimated as medium or below medium, winter hardiness is intermediate.
The variety demonstrates good resistance to leaf rust and yellow rust, as well as to spike pathogens such as Septoria nodorum and Fusarium. Resistance to powdery mildew and Septoria leaf blotch is at a medium level.
The grain has a high test weight and flour yield. Protein content is 13.4%, wet gluten is 34.2%. The falling number is 286 seconds, the Zeleny sedimentation value is 29 ml, and the thousand kernel weight is 45.3 g. Grain quality corresponds to class B.
