The variety was obtained based on genetic material from the International Maize and Wheat Improvement Center (CIMMYT). According to genealogical data, it is a selection from the line PENJAMO 62 SIB / CABO 55.
The plant belongs to the semi-dwarf type and contains the Rht1 dwarfing gene. In scientific literature, the variety is mentioned in studies focused on the resistance of wheat to leaf septoria caused by the fungus Zymoseptoria tritici.
