The Neretva variety is a winter soft wheat (Triticum aestivum L.). It was developed by breeders M. Bede, G. Drezner, and J. Martinčić as part of the scientific activities of the Agricultural Institute in Osijek.
In the available materials, the variety is identified as winter wheat, however, detailed agronomic characteristics, such as plant height indicators, resistance to diseases, lodging, or grain quality parameters, are not presented in broad publications.
