The variety is a winter type and was obtained through line selection from local landrace wheat of the Keski-Uusimaa region. Plants of this variety are distinguished by a long stem, the height of which varies from 122 to 170 cm, which makes the variety prone to lodging. Externally, the plant is recognizable by its wide leaves.
The variety is classified as relatively late, the harvest of which was historically carried out at the end of August. The grain is of good quality, and the variety is valued for its outstanding baking performance for its time. Good winter hardiness is also noted in the plants.
