The variety was created within the framework of a partnership for breeding crops adapted to the conditions of Andalusia. The main goal of the development was to meet the needs of the region's baking industry for high-quality raw materials.

Grain quality studies in Mediterranean climatic conditions confirmed the significance of the genotypic factor for the formation of such indicators as the SDS sedimentation volume, falling number, and the W value according to the alveograph. The variety underwent testing to evaluate adaptability in a production system including the application of fungicide treatments.
