The variety belongs to the soft winter wheat group and is classified as early and semi-dwarf. It is frequently included in scientific research aimed at studying resistance to various pathogens, including stem rust, powdery mildew, Septoria, and Fusarium head blight.

In agronomic publications, the variety is used for the analysis of protein composition, in particular high-molecular-weight glutenin subunits, as well as for evaluating the lutein content in whole grain flour.
