The DSV Oxford variety is a winter feed wheat obtained by crossing lines DSV20122 and Reflection. The plant reaches a height of about 84.6 cm, has a strong straw, and is suitable for late sowing. Grain quality indicators include a protein content of about 11.3% and a test weight of 76.0 kg/hl.
This variety exhibits high resistance to yellow rust, as well as moderate resistance to powdery mildew and Fusarium. In addition, the variety possesses genetic resistance to the orange wheat blossom midge. Varieties under the name Oxford, included in the state registers of CIS countries in 2010, have a different origin and are independent breeding achievements.
