The variety belongs to the spring soft wheat type. During the period of its use, the variety was actively introduced into commercial plantings in Northern European countries, in particular Finland and Norway, and was also used in various breeding programs.
The variety's production is characterized by a stable level of protein content under various growing conditions, however, the qualitative indicators of this protein are assessed as low. In scientific studies, the variety was considered as an object for studying adaptation to climate change and temperature regimes.
In the course of phytopathological studies, the susceptibility of the variety to certain populations of the powdery mildew pathogen Blumeria graminis f. sp. tritici was noted, which is associated with its possession of corresponding susceptibility genes.
