The variety is awnless and reaches an average height of about 102 cm. The plant possesses good winter hardiness, tillering capacity, and medium lodging resistance. Under laboratory conditions, seedling susceptibility to the pathogen Puccinia striiformis has been recorded.
The potential yield reaches 9–11 t/ha. The variety is suitable for food use and as forage. The tall stem and intensive tillering allow the variety to be effectively used in organic farming systems for weed suppression.
