The variety was obtained as a result of a three-way cross between the varieties Scout, Oakley and Santiago. The plant belongs to medium-height types with a stem height of about 87 cm and good resistance to lodging.
The variety is mid-season and belongs to the feed group. The thousand kernel weight and specific weight of the grain are 76.0 kg/hl.
The wheat possesses resistance to orange wheat blossom midge and yellow rust. Resistance to brown rust is assessed as medium, and to septoria and powdery mildew as moderate.
