The variety was developed using thermal mutagenesis. The plant has a semi-erect bush type and reaches a height of 65–82 cm. A strong stem of medium thickness is combined with a spindle-shaped ear of straw-yellow color and large red grain.
The variety belongs to the early-maturing group. It possesses resistance to brown rust, as well as field resistance to cereal aphids and wheat thrips. The grain quality corresponds to the category of valuable or strong varieties.
The variety is characterized by a high coefficient of total tillering, although the productive tillering coefficient may decrease under stressful spring conditions. Recommended for cultivation in the forest-steppe zone.
