The variety is mentioned in scientific studies conducted between 2011–2013, where the resistance of European winter wheat varieties to Fusarium head blight was evaluated. During comparative tests, data on grain infection and thousand kernel weight indicators were recorded.
This variety is a separate breeding product and is not identical to the Australian wheat variety «Scepter», known for its morphological coleoptile traits. Detailed agronomic characteristics, including plant height and maturity group for the «Septer» variety, are not presented.
