The variety is a spring soft wheat with a low tillering type. The genetic basis of the variety includes lines Frontana, Kenya 58, Newthatch, Norin 10, Brevor and Gabo 55. During the creation period, it was characterized as a semi-dwarf form, which ensured high lodging resistance.
The plant possesses complex resistance to diseases, in particular, to stem rust and leaf rust. The grain is distinguished by high technological qualities, while the variety is characterized by an increased number of grains per spike, which may be smaller in size compared to other varieties.
Due to its productivity, the variety was widely used in breeding programs in many countries around the world as a source of short-stature genes and disease resistance.
