The variety is a medium-maturity spring wheat with plants of medium-short to medium height. It possesses good lodging resistance and resistance to many races of stem rust, however, it is moderately susceptible to yellow rust and susceptible to common bunt and barley yellow dwarf virus.
The spike is bronze-colored, erect, fully awned, with a characteristic S-shaped curve of the internode directly below the spike. The grain is white, semi-hard, and of medium size. The variety was selected from a cross of the varieties Penjamo sib and Gabo 55.
