The variety is a hybrid obtained by the pedigree selection method from a combination of SG-S299-94 and BANTI. According to the Czech classification, the variety is classified as non-breadmaking, which makes it suitable for biscuit production, despite a protein content of about 13.5% and a falling number of 326 seconds.
The plant belongs to early-maturing varieties, has a medium-high or short stem and medium resistance to lodging. The thousand kernel weight is low, amounting to 36–37 g, and the test weight is about 77.4 kg/hl.
The variety possesses high resistance to powdery mildew, leaf rust and Fusarium head blight, and medium resistance to leaf necrosis. Under artificial inoculation conditions, susceptibility to yellow rust and stem rust was revealed.
