The variety belongs to winter soft wheat. Genetically, it carries the alleles of the dwarf genes Rht-B1a/Rht-D1a, as well as an "early" allele that influences the plant's maturity timing.
The bread-making qualities of the grain are recognized as acceptable for milling production. Studies noted a high potential for protein yield, however, a relatively high asparagine content was recorded.
The variety is susceptible to infection by certain diseases, in particular yellow rust. In breeding programs, its use was limited due to the incompatibility of dwarf genes and the instability of quality indicators during processing.
