The variety has a semi-erect growth habit and a solid stem. The flag leaf is characterized by the absence of curvature. The plant possesses a strong waxy bloom on the flag leaf sheath and the peduncle, medium or strong on the leaf blade, and medium on the ear.
The grain is red in color, with a thousand kernel weight of 41–43 g. The variety shows tolerance to wintering conditions and drought but demonstrates sensitivity to extreme heat. In terms of phytopathological protection, the variety is moderately resistant to Septoria and moderately susceptible to powdery mildew.
