The variety was obtained using genetic material of wild tetraploid wheat Triticum turgidum subsp. dicoccoides, which determines its specific protective properties. The plant is characterized by a very short straw and good resistance to lodging and stem breakage.
The variety belongs to late-maturing ones and is intended for the production of feed grain, distinguished by a high thousand kernel weight. It possesses exceptional resistance to Septoria, manifesting in a long latent period of disease development, and also demonstrates good resistance to powdery mildew.
The variety is listed in the national registry — its seeds are authorized for sale in this country.
