The Vdiachna variety belongs to the group of early-maturing winter soft wheat varieties. In the process of its creation, the method of thermal mutagenesis was used, which consists of exposing seeds to low temperatures.

The plant possesses resistance to leaf rust, determined by the presence of the Lr34 gene. The selection of the variety was aimed at combining grain quality characteristics with high winter hardiness and drought tolerance.
