The variety was obtained by hybridizing the varieties «Hamersleben» and «Mironovskaya 61» followed by individual selection and the use of wheat-rye translocations. Plants are medium-tall, 80.9 to 95.3 cm in height. The ear is white, bearded, cylindrical in shape, and of medium density.
The variety possesses a pronounced tillering capacity, increased photoperiod sensitivity, and a prolonged vernalization period. The root system is adapted to changing environmental conditions. It is a food crop and is also used in breeding programs.
