The variety is the result of work by the Department for Breeding and Genetics of Small Grain Cereals. Detailed morphological characteristics and grain quality indicators are not presented in open publications.
The variety is included in the Variety List of the Republic of Croatia. It is important to distinguish this variety from the Russian soft winter wheat variety «Вольница».
