The variety «Vselena» appears in scientific publications as an object of breeding experiments. It was used by Bulgarian researchers as one of the parental winter soft wheat varieties to study genetic variability and the heritability of productivity traits in F2 hybrid populations.
As part of the breeding work, the «Vselena» variety was crossed with the «Junak» variety. The resulting combination was highlighted by researchers as having promising productivity indicators.
