The variety was obtained by individual selection from an F4 hybrid population from crossing the Ivolga and Prokhorovka varieties. The plant forms a semi-erect bush and a white cylindrical dense spike with short awn-like appendages.
The grain of the variety is red, semi-elongated in shape. The variety is distinguished by high lodging resistance and a potential yield of up to 6.5–7.0 t/ha. Grain quality is characterized by a gluten content of 35–38% and a flour strength of 250–350 e.a.
