The variety is a mutant form carrying the Rht14 semi-dwarf gene, which provides a 34% reduction in plant height compared to the original variety. Due to the presence of erectness genes, the variety possesses high resistance to lodging under unfavorable conditions.

The variety is of great importance for breeding as an object of genetic research and a donor of valuable traits for the development of high-yielding durum wheat lines.
