The variety is characterized by high grain quality with a test weight of 78 kg/hl and a vitreousness of 95%. In agrotechnical studies, the presence of 363 stems per square meter was noted.

The variety is well adapted to semi-arid conditions and was used as a standard for evaluating heading and sowing dates. It was used as a parent component for breeding new durum wheat varieties.
