Variety description

The variety was obtained by crossing the Leucurum 02–13 line with Triticum macha. The plant is short-growing, reaching a height of 95–100 cm, and possesses a strong stem, ensuring high resistance to lodging and shattering. The post-harvest dormancy period of the seeds is 5–7 days.

The variety shows resistance to powdery mildew, brown leaf rust, leaf septoria and Fusarium head blight, and is moderately resistant to root rots. The average yield is 5.36 t/ha with a potential of up to 8.01 t/ha.

The thousand kernel weight is 47.4 g, and the grain test weight is 817 g/l. The gluten content varies within 28.5–33.0%. The variety is intended for use in the pasta and confectionery industry.
