The variety belongs to the mid-season or mid-late maturity group. Morphologically, it is a semi-dwarf plant, characterized by the absence of flag leaf rolling.
The genetic base of the variety includes CIMMYT breeding lines. During its active breeding period, the variety was studied for resistance to wheat stripe rust, however, modern races of this pathogen exhibit virulence to it.
The purpose of the variety is grain processing for the production of pasta and groats. In modern agronomy, it is considered an object of historical genetic stock.
