The variety belongs to the gordeiforme botanical variety and is characterized by a strong stem 75–90 cm tall. The grain has a vitreous structure and amber color.

The growing season is about 275 days, which classifies the variety as mid-ripening. The plant possesses high drought tolerance, moderate winter hardiness, and good disease resistance, which allows it to be grown in the Steppe, Forest-Steppe, and Polissya zones.
