The variety is tall, with stem heights reaching 180–200 cm. The plant forms a large ear with long awns. Due to its significant height, the variety is prone to lodging and requires specific growing conditions, showing sensitivity to intensive use of agrochemicals.

The grain possesses a high content of protein (14–15%), B vitamins, antioxidants, and minerals. The flour is distinguished by a sandy texture and is suitable for making pasta that maintains its shape during cooking, as well as for bread, pizza, and focaccia.
