The variety is included in the Common Catalogue of Varieties of Agricultural Plant Species of the European Union. There are discrepancies in the documentation classifying the variety as soft wheat (Triticum aestivum), however, in most agronomic publications it is classified as durum wheat (Triticum durum).

The variety underwent variety testing in Italy, where it showed yields above average values. Studies were also conducted on the variety's reaction to Soil-borne cereal mosaic virus (SBCMV), during which the pathogen infection indicators were recorded.
