The variety was developed within the framework of CREA breeding programs for the conditions of Southern Italy. The wheat is intended for the production of high-quality grain that meets modern processing industry requirements for protein content and technological properties.

The plant demonstrates an ability to efficiently utilize nitrogen fertilizers under organic cultivation methods. In scientific publications, the variety is often used for comparative analysis with other wheat species, including indicators of resistance to fungal diseases, such as rust.
