The Ad Rem Parrot variety belongs to the group of parrot tulips and is a sport of the Ad Rem variety. The flower is distinguished by its large size, reaching 7.5–12 cm, with petals that are strongly fringed, wavy, and twisted, characteristic of the group.
The petal color varies from orange-pink to orange-red hues, often complemented by golden strokes or reddish stripes; the outer petals may have a pinkish tint. The peduncle height is 40 to 55 cm.
The variety is mid-season flowering, with blooms occurring in May. The peduncles are characterized by resistance to weather conditions, which allows the plant to be used in landscape design, for creating floral arrangements, and as cut flowers.
