The variety belongs to double peony-flowered tulips. The bud reaches a height of 7–9 cm; petal coloration is dark pink with a whitish edge, sometimes with violet-red or orange-red shades. The peduncle is fleshy and sturdy, supporting the heavy bud and capable of forming multiple flowers.
The plant belongs to late-flowering varieties with a flowering period in April–May. Plant height is 45 cm; the variety is characterized by high winter hardiness (zone 3). It is used for landscaping and cut flowers, but is not intended for commercial forcing.
