The variety belongs to the Tulipa gesneriana culture. In amateur gardening encyclopedias, it is described as a representative of the Double Early group with red petals. The flower stem height is 25–35 cm.

The variety is used both in bulb production and for cut flower production. There are difficulties with data verification due to potential confusion with other tulip varieties that have similar names.
