Variety description

The variety belongs to the group of fringed tulips. The bud has a goblet shape 7–9 cm high; when fully opened, it can resemble a poppy. The petals are colored bright yellow and have a pronounced needle-like fringe along the edges. The plant possesses a fresh fragrance and a strong peduncle, the height of which varies from 40 to 60 cm.

It belongs to late-flowering varieties with a flowering period in late April – May. The variety is suitable for landscaping flowerbeds, borders, rock gardens, and cut flowers, maintaining the bud shape throughout the entire flowering period. Frost resistance corresponds to USDA zone 3 (down to –40 °C). It prefers sunny areas with drained neutral or slightly alkaline soil.
