Variety description

The variety belongs to the group of fringed tulips. Its distinctive feature is double flowers with needle-like fringe along the edges of the petals. The flower color varies from a rich red to a dark red shade. The plant has a pleasant fragrance.

The plant height is about 40 cm. The variety is suitable for use in gardens in flower beds and borders, as cut flowers, and also for container cultivation. Flowering occurs from mid- to late spring.

The plant requires well-drained soils and a sunny or partially shaded location. The variety is distinct and differs from the Mascotte variety, which has a pinkish-lilac color.
