Variety description

The variety is a low-growing plant with a height of 8 to 20 cm. The bright red flowers have pointed petals that open widely in sunlight; a characteristic dark spot is located in the center of the flower. The foliage is narrow, with a grayish-green shade.

The flowering period occurs in April–May. The variety is perennial, winter-hardy, and well-suited for naturalization. The plant requires well-drained soil and is sensitive to excessive moisture, which leads to bulb rot. Lodging resistance is high.

The variety is not suitable for commercial forcing in water. It is recommended for planting in rock gardens, rockeries, containers, as well as for group plantings in open field.
