The variety is a hybrid obtained from crossing Gupton and Sweetcrisp. The genetic background is formed mainly based on Vaccinium corymbosum with partial participation of Vaccinium ashei and Vaccinium darrowi.
The plant possesses vigorous growth and forms a slightly spreading bush. The medium-blue berries have excellent storage and transport characteristics due to their firmness and small dry picking scar. The variety is characterized by high yield and is used in breeding work as a parent form.
