The variety is a tetraploid hybrid obtained from crossing the Jewel and Sweetcrisp varieties. The plant is characterized by an upright, medium-height bush with a small crown, displaying high growth vigor and productivity.
The fruits are large, with a diameter of 18 mm or more and an average weight of about 2.9 g. The berries have a balanced flavor with low acidity, firm juicy flesh, a heavy bloom, and a dry picking scar.
The variety is intended for commercial cultivation for the fresh market in regions with mild climates, where low chilling hour requirements are necessary. The ripening period is approximately two weeks ahead of the Star variety.
