The variety is a hybrid obtained by crossing 75% Vaccinium corymbosum and 25% V. darrowii. The plant forms a vigorous upright bush 125 to 180 cm tall. The variety possesses frost resistance within zones 4–8 and requires about 800 chilling hours.
The berries are characterized by a very small size (about 0.8–1.0 g), firmness, and a sweet taste. The yield of the variety is 2–3 times higher than that of the Rubel variety. The plant is suitable for mechanical harvesting, suitable for processing and fresh consumption, and also possesses decorative autumn foliage coloration.
