The variety was obtained by open pollination of the variety «Spartan» and is known under the breeding number E 88-3/35. The bush is vigorous, with an upright growth habit, wide or semi-spreading crown, capable of active shoot and flower bud formation.

It belongs to the category of very early varieties, with ripening times close to the variety «Weymouth». The fruits are large, of high quality, with an increased content of vitamin C. The berries are formed in long loose clusters, located mainly in the lower part of the bush.

The variety is intended for commercial cultivation and fresh consumption. In breeding work, it is used as a parental form when crossing with other varieties to evaluate the biochemical composition of berries.
