The variety was bred by specialists at the Finnish MTT Agrifood Research center and belongs to a group of breeding developments adapted to the short northern growing season. The plant is characterized by high winter hardiness and multi-purpose use.
Exact morphometric indicators of the bush and detailed agrotechnical data are presented fragmentarily in open publications. The variety should be distinguished from the American variety Sierra and commercial plant growing substrates produced under the Siro brand.
