The medium-sized bush has a semi-upright habit and good vigor. The fruits are round in shape with an average weight of about 1.6 g and are covered with a waxy bloom. The calyx of the fruit has the shape of a five-pointed star.
The variety is early-maturing and characterized by concentrated ripening over a period of three weeks. The chilling requirement is about 400 hours at temperatures below 7°C. The fruits have a good flavor and a small, dry picking scar.
The plant possesses good drought tolerance and resistance to diseases, particularly to cane blight. Winter hardiness is limited to -18°C. Cross-pollination with other southern highbush blueberry varieties is required to obtain maximum yield and larger berries.
