The bush has a compact, dense spherical shape and reaches a height of 0.9–1.2 meters. The foliage is decorative: young leaves are pale blue, turn a gray-blue hue in summer, and color to bright red in autumn. In mild winters, the variety may not shed its foliage. The flowers have a characteristic pink color, which fades as they bloom.
Mid-season maturity variety; the harvest is collected from late June to August or September. The berries are medium-sized, dark blue with a waxy bloom, possess a sweet taste, and have good transportability and keeping quality. The plant is self-fertile and does not require the presence of pollinators.
The variety is adapted to regions with mild winters, as it requires a low number of chilling hours. Frost resistance is estimated down to -29°C (USDA zone 5); however, due to the tendency to retain foliage in warm weather, plants may need protection in harsh winters. The variety is resistant to diseases and pests.
