The Spartan bush is upright, with a moderately spreading crown and strong shoots. The variety is characterized by mid-early ripening: fruiting in the middle latitudes begins from the second ten-day period of July.

The berries have a dessert sweet-and-sour taste and a pronounced aroma. The diameter of the fruits is 16–18 mm, individual specimens reach 25 mm, and the fruit weight reaches up to 2 g. The firm skin of the berries allows for the transport of the harvest.

The plant possesses resistance to Monilinia vaccinii-corymbosi and mummy berry. The variety shows sensitivity to drought and waterlogging of the soil. Due to the characteristics of the fruits and the structure of the bush, it is suitable for mechanized harvesting and universal use.
